INs and OUTs


Hello my lovelies!
It's been a long time since I had time to sit and peacefully
write posts or check other blogs:/
But I'll do my best to catch up:)

I had a lot of stuff to deal with.

INs:

-Feeling slimmer and fitter

I lost 8kg so far, not always due to healthy
lifestyle, also because of stress but my goal is
to eat reasonably and exercise so I can feel
good in my own skin.

-Being single
Believe it or not but after 5 yrs spent
with one guy I find it challenging to come back
on the market lol
But I've got my first date tomorrow and I'm
super excited. I'm happy I can do what I want now,
think about my own needs and have fun.
A new chapter begins! woot woot

-Getting a new flat
I have a flatmate now that I love her to death:)
She broke up with her bf not long ago as well
so we support each other and have so much fun together.
We just found a bigger place now so we'll move at
the end of the month.



-Realising that you're surrounded by
great friends when you're in need


-Amazing, supporting parents!

I'm so grateful for them.
The best parents I could possibly imagine


-New job
Exciting.
Plus I get to work within young
vibrant environment.

OUTs:

-Getting to know that your ex was an asshole

I hate being told stuff he's been doing behind
my back.. It seems that I spent so much time
with a guy I didn't really know..
So painful. But I learnt my lesson:/



- Cold weather
Seriously. Enough is enough.

-Problems with my car
Please, no more.
Since I had my MOT done it started to freak out..
but it's ok now..shhh.. fingers crossed:)

Sorry it's not a beauty related post
but there is so much going on in my life
at the moment. I promise to go back on track.

IN's and OUT's

IN's:

-Getting back to shape
During winter I tend to gain weight so during
the last week I decided to do something about it.
I try to exercise everyday. I'm not a gym person
but I enjoy running and practising yoga at home.
I also have Wii Fit- although it's not super serious,
it brings the variety.



-Living on my own
I've always shared a flat. Either with flatmates
or a boyfriend. For the first time ever I live on my own.
I'm not gonna lie- it was rough at first (it is still sometimes)
but I started to appreciate it. For once it's about what
I want. I learn how to be happy with myself.
Cos if I'm not happy with myself,
I will never be able to be happy with somebody else.
Amen=)



-Eating more reasonably

I don't call it a diet (this word makes me go: ewww lol)
I eat more veggies & fruits, control my portions
and reduce the junk food. I don't want to do
anything too extreme cos I know I wouldn't stick to it
for too long. I've been doing it for a week and I lost 1 kg
which motivates me a lot:)


-Drinking water
I drink at least 2l of water daily and I can't emphasise
enough its benefits! My skin looks better, I feel less tired
and it fills my stomach so I don't get hungry too quickly.

OUT's:

-Stress
I've been dealing with a lot of stuff recently.
I can feel that both my body and my mind are exhausted.
That's one of the reasons why I became so obsessed with
changing my eating and fitness habits:)

-Lack of sleep

My sleeping pattern is all over the place.
I'm a night person. I enjoy staying up to 4 or 5am
but college and work require being reasonable:)
Last 2 weeks were really tiring because I couldn't
sleep at night and I was like a zombie during the day
trying to survive. Then I used to have a nap in the afternoon
and of course still couldn't sleep at night. It was like a closed circle.
I'm working on that.



-Money
I'm learning how to control my shopping.
It's painful:/

INs and OUTs




INs:

1. bareMinerals foundation!
That stuff is great.
Doesn't feel like wearing makeup
and has a great coverage.
Plus makes the skin look glowy!


2. Twitter.
I know, I know.
But its such an amazing way
to connect with people!

3. Watching Sesame Street
to cheer yourself up.
It reminds me how uncomplicated
the world is when you're a child.





4. Cute accessorises.





5. Essential oils.
My whole flat smells
with lavender.




6.BioOil
It's a blessing in winter!




7. Lost
The final season starts in February.
mmm Josh Holloway..



8. Green Tea
It is my constant IN.



OUTs

1. Fake tan.
Let's face it:
my skin will never look natural
with a layer a fake tanner.
Never.






2. Lush mania
Don't get me wrong: I love Lush products!
But it got so popular recently.
Plenty of blog posts and You Tube videos
filled with reviews, how to and hauls..
I kind of liked it when people were going like:
'Lush?! What's that?'
I guess that was inevitable.
Still gonna shop there. Defo.



3. Lily Allen and Karl Lagerfeld

Dear Karl,
WHY when you could have
any model, artist,
or singer in the world… why Lily?
Is it her pink hair or her catchy
commercial pop melodies?
It’s hard to say exactly
why this duo is out
when we are still very unclear
about why it was ever in!




4. Skinny jeans
I like them so much
but I have to be honest:
I will never look like Kate Moss

wearing them
and it's time to let them go.


Yay for curvy shapes!

my UPs & DOWNs


Currently I am sooo into right now:


CANDLES - they can make or break the atmosphere in my flat




MUSIC - gives me power and inspiration, I carry my IPod everywhere!





RAIN - I know it may seem odd but I really enjoy rain:)






Josh Holloway - yesterday, today, tomorrow LOL





COOKING - really enjoy cooking but I have to feel like doing it..





COLOURS are essential!







And what I struggle with:

BEING BROKE - yeah, student's budget:)






SECRET SANTA - we're doing it at college and I got someone I have no clue what to get for:/






MONDAYs - just hate them!







WAKING UP EARLY IN THE MORNING - do I really have to explain?!

autuMn


Hey guys, hope you're enjoying Sunday (hopefully a lazy one:D)
Just wanted to share my INs and OUTs.


So starting with what's IN for me at the moment:

  • Autumn- I think it's my favourite season, when I was going to work this morning, I noticed colourful leaves and when it's sunny, they look gorgeous. I also like to dress up with layers and scarves and cute hats:)
  • HoT drinks- I'm really into coffee, tea and looove white hot chocolate. I like to add a bit of cinnamon or vanilla sugar to my cup of coffee, I like when it has a little twist. Green tea is always in but now I also like fruit teas, white tea and peppermint-lemon tea.
  • Project Runaway- I am totally addicted. Just started season 6 and I want to take it slow cause Im afraid it'll finish it too soon;)
  • BiG shampoo from Lush- smells incredible and my hair has the volume and shine! It also stays fresh for longer so I don't have to wash it everyday. And I know that when you first see the pot, you might think: 'Im not crazy to rub sea salt in my hair!' but believe me, its not as harsh as it looks, it really works for my hair type.
  • BloggiNg- Im so glad I found my space to express myself and my passion for fashion and beauty:) this is so much fun you guys:)
  • Long cardigans- no need to explain:)

And my OUTs:

  • Short hair- I used to have short hair for at least 4 or 5 years and I loved it, but Im growing it now because I like changes and there's so much you can do with longer hair. Just sometimes I think it would be cool to go wild and get a funky short cut..
  • X Factor- I know everybody's excited about it and dont get me wrong- Im interested in who's gonna win this year, I just hate the way the programme is done, too much drama and fake pressure. That's just my opinion.
  • Lady Gaga- I don't get her, she's trying too hard.
