blah

Today I feel a little down.
It's not the end of the world
but Im not my usual 'happy' self.

Maybe its the weather.

Or the fact that I have a little cold.
Or lots of stuff that I need to do for collage
and all I can do is hanging out in front of my laptop.
I dunno.

I figured out that's the video
that always helps me during days like that.

It just cracks me up!

I love Friends.
I started giggling like a child:)

What are you ways to survive days like that?

So ladies,

That's my bronzed look of the day.
I know that probably for most of you
I still look pale lol
But my complexion is freakishly fair
and I finally stop faking it's not LOL

No, seriously I used ELF Warm bronzer
all over my face to bring out more colour.
It's still subtle as in winter light colours seem more vibrant.

urban decay alice in wonderland palette

Isn't it exciting?

Urba
n Decay Alice in Wonderland palette -
a 16 shade eyeshadow colour palette,
2 24/7 e
yeliners (flipside & zero) and an eyeshadow primer potion.
I think that at least 5 shadows have been renamed
and can be found in Book of Shadows I and II
but there's al
so some exclusive ones!

The packaging is adorable!

I found some information that UK is limited to
2000 palett
es:/
Not sure about that.
Hopefully I'm mistaken!

How cute is that?

The movie is getting released in UK on the 5th of March.
Makeup looks sooo impressive!
It will be fun to see it especially in 3D.

review: greatest scrub of all (soap & glory) and aapri scrub cream

So in my Soap & Glory Big Thrill Giant Box
that I picked up before Christmas
one of the products that I was really excited about
was Greatest Scrub of all (£8).

On the package it says: Facial Exfoliator with smooth-boosting spheres
that pop open when you press on them.
I thought that it's quite unique so my expectations were high.

For couple of months now I've been using Aapri Scrub Cream (£3.20).
It contains ground apricot kernels,
apricot kernel oil, aloe vera and

vitamin E to deep cleanse and remove dirt,
grease and dead skin cells.

I must say that I have mixed skin and I need to exfoliate twice a week.

Aapri really worked for me- after using it,
my skin was smooth and felt really clean.

I came to a conclusion that Soap & Glory scrub isn't for me.
It's very creamy and it has some exfoliating spheres
but it's too gentle for me.
I think it could be better for dry skin.

The left one is Soap & Glory, the right one Aapri.
You can spot the difference right away- S&G looks like a cream,
Aapri looks very grainy.

So now as I don't want to waste the whole tube (DUH!),
I mix them together!
It gives this really exfoliating and moisturising paste!
Genius! lol

Big Thrill Giant Hatbox
is the first set
of Soap and Glory products that I tried and
in general I have to say that I really like this range.
They're moisturising and rich.
I'm also a sucker when it comes to packaging
and I really love S & G stuff.
It's sort of modern vintage:)
So cute!

Any personal experience with Soap & Glory range?

feeling good

I am so grateful for
my 49 followers!

For some it might not seem a lot but for me it is lol
Thank you guys for stopping by,
for the support and comments.
It means a lot to me.
When I started my blog back in October,
I never thought I could get that far :)

I also got a new camera.
It's Nikon Coolpix S630.
And my Dad got me the cutest little pouch to protect it.

So I'll be able to make better quality pictures
because my older one really sucked.

I'm going back to college tomorrow and I feel SO lazy!
Somebody help!! LOL
Have so much to do and still can't force myself to get to work.
Blah

Currently listening to:

Jill Scott is freaking amazing.
Love her voice and the positive vibe she' sending out.

So once again huge thank you guys for reading my blog!

Till the next time!

xoxo

spice up your.. coffee

Besides drinking litres of green tea,
I'm a huge coffee junkie.
I try to limit myself to max 3 cups a day
because if I drink more, I notice I become a little anxious:/
We have Starbucks at college but I try not to visit it too often lol
If I did, I'd probably go bankrupt:)

I don't enjoy powder coffee too much. I mostly drink coffee from a cafetiere.

Anyway, I have a couple of ways to enjoy daily cup of coffee with a twist.

1. Add a pinch of nutmeg.
Perfect for winter.
It gives a rich and a bit spicy feeling.

2. If you are a chocoholic,
treat yourself with chocolate sprinkles!

3. Or add a bit of cinnamon.
I love its smell.

4. You might also mix it up with some vanilla powder:)
I'm a huge vanilla lover.

This is just my way to make my daily routine a little more enjoyable.

I'm curious to know how do you guys drink your coffee?

xoxo

back to business:>

I'm back ladies!!
I hope that everybody's well.
So happy to finally get some time for my blog.
I've missed you guys:)
It was such a busy period.
Initially I was ambitious and I thought I will write all
my essays and finish some projects for college BUT
..well.. I don't even know when these 2 weeks passed.
I didn't have time for internet, I was spending time with family and friends.
Had to catch up with the loved ones.

But I am officially back.
A little sick but who isn't with the crazy snow and temperature?!
So let's get back to business:)
I got some great goodies this year.

Estée Lauder Beautiful Skin Solution Prevention Set:
  • Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher
  • Advanced Night Repair Protective Eye Recovery Complex
  • DayWear Plus Multi Protection Anti-Oxidant Creme SPF 15

My Mum totally surprised me with this awesome pack!
I wanted especially this serum for ages and so far I really like it.
It makes your skin uber smooth and poreless without the skin feeling tight.

Next up I got Gucci Flora set: a perfume and a body lotion.

I totally suck when it comes to describing scents lol so I'll count on www.nstperfume.com :

Flora smells very of-the-moment: it’s light, clean, fresh and pretty, which I hope is what perfume consumers were after this spring because there’s plenty of it on the counters at the moment. The notes for Flora are listed as citrus, peony, rose, osmanthus, pink pepper, sandalwood and patchouli, but they don’t matter too much: this is a sheer, almost-sparkling floral, very pale and clean, in which nothing stands out other than the peony, and even that only for a short while. It smells like it’s been through a rigorous series of focus groups designed to ensure that it would not ruffle feathers on anybody anywhere: there’s nothing sharp in the citrus-y opening, it’s floral but not too floral, it’s vaguely peach-y but not too fruity, it’s sweet-ish but not too sweet.

I must say I really like this perfume.
It's sort of sweet but not heavy if you know what I mean.

I also wanted to get something for myself this Christmas
so when I got home I went to Sephora

I wanted this set forever lol

bareMinerals Get Started 8-piece collection (fairly light and light)

  • 2 SPF 15 Foundations
  • Mineral Veil
  • bareMinerals Warmth All-Over Face Color
  • Full Flawless Face Brush
  • Flawless Application Face Brush
  • Maximum Coverage Concealer Brush

  • Get Started DVD
  • Booklet
  • Primer sample

I'm really into mineral make up recently so
I cant wait to try out these products:)

Of course as sales started I couldn't hold myself and I did some shopping lol
One of my favourite items I got is this bright pinky bag!

I hope that you all had
a fab time this Christmas

and
I wanted to wish you all an awesome New Year!

(better late than never lol)

xoxo
